About Department:
The IT Department of Amrutvahini Polytechnic, Sangamner is established in year 2001 which was transforming period in IT education when computers were used in wide range of applications. Whether it is a medical, mechanical, civil, Banking, Education and electronics applications, the computers are used to solve the complex problem in efficient manner in a short time. Today computer industry needs adaptable people to represent the business solutions.
We have well equipped computer Laboratories with LAN of sufficient numbers of computers with latest configuration, UPS, Multi-function printers, scanners, LCD Projectors etc.. We provide quality education to our students with tutor CDs, efficient staff and teaching aids.
Students of our department have given internet facility via 40 MBPS broadband connection and 25 MBPS leased line Internet connection from BSNL. Ours students are also participating in MSBTE organized Debate competition, paper presentation, Blind C competition, Quiz etc. The department have installed various system software such as Windows 8, Windows 2008 server, Linux Mint and application softwares such as Office 2010, IBM Rational Rose, JDK 7.0, Visual Basic 6.0, and Turbo C++.
Our department have organized one week MSBTE sponsored training program on "Multimedia and Animation technology" in year 2007-2008, G Scheme Curriculum Implementation program for subjects Microprocessor and Object Oriented Programming. Three no of NITTR online trainings in ICT mode in year 2019.
Our staff member have also worked as a website coordinator to develop a web site www.amrutpoly.co.in and used content management system. We have timely coordinated for getting the present effects of our site. Our staff member have also worked as a coordinator for successful implementation of ERP software “ANanoSoft” used for College administration as well as Staff, Student use.

Department Laboratories:
Programming Lab 1:
• Programming Lab 1 is one the important lab in IT Dept. because student learn basic programming in this lab. The various practical perform in Programming lab are C programming, Microprocessor programming using TASM/MASM/NASM assembler tools.
• The lab is also utilized for breadth technology subjects like software testing, operating system and project design, network management.
• The higher configuration computers in lab are also utilized for final project & micro project development.
Programming Lab 2:
• This Lab is used for Fundamentals of ICT, Graphics, Software Testing, Object Oriented Programming, Digital Techniques and Web Page Designing.
• The Programming Lab 2 is used for The interactive experiments. This lab will give the students an opportunity for learning and better understanding of the basic concepts and constructs of computer programming as well as advanced methodology concepts like Deep learning, Big data Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Intelligence etc.
• This lab is also utilized for final project & micro project development.
Programming Lab 3::
• The New Generation Technologies with higher configuration computers in lab are utilized for JAVA Programming, Mobile Application Development and Wireless Communication Simulation Software Purpose.

• Programming lab 3 is a hands-on project and assignment-based learning space where students will gain strong practical and technical skills in various programming languages including C, Python and Java, UNIX/Linux: shell, tools, utilities and programming environments, user interfaces, and software engineering.

• Multimedia lab is Linux base lab with LCD Projector. The various practical perform in Multimedia lab are DSU practical ,Software engineering Linux base operating System practical’s, NMA practical’s.

• Hardware Lab is one the important lab in IT Dept because student learn various hardware subjects like Digital Techniques and Microprocessor,Computer Arch and Maint., D in this lab.
• The various practical perform in Hardware. Lab are Client side scripting, plied Multimedia technology, Digital Techniques, Information Security etc.
The higher configuration computers in lab are also utilized for final project & micro project development.
IT Centre:
• This lab is basically developed for common Internet surfing, Information search, Online feedback etc.
The remaining hours are utilized for practical of subjects ICT, CAD-CAM.
The lab is also utilized for online examination, CCC examination conduction as per DOEACC Schedule.
