About Department:
The Mechanical Engineering Program is established in 1983 with intake 60 students. Present intake capacity is 180 students (Regular -120 and shift - 60).The Mechanical Engineering Program has well qualified and experienced faculties. Following are the laboratories with modern instruments, contemporary equipment’s, advanced software and various amenities.
The department organizes seminars, group discussions, expert lectures from industries and cultural activities. Also carried out program on CATIA and CREO parameters contributing to overall development of students.
The department has Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) to conduct various co-curricular activities such as Mech-Fest, Project Competition, Quiz Competition, Paper Presentation, and Bike Workshop.
The department had received a grant from AICTE under MODROBS to develop a CNC lab. Our students received 2nd prize at state level Diploma Project Exhibition Competition in DIPEX. Our students also received 1st prize at ROBOCON.
Department also provide facilities for external student to do testing on Surface Finish Tester & PUC Testing.
Our student Rajput Sunilkumar R. ranks First in MSBTE Exam in academic year 2016-17 in Maharashtra

Automation Lab (CAD Center)
It is well equipped laboratory with advanced drafting software like Catia, Pro-E, Autocad, and used for solid modeling, auto cad, fundamentals ICT.
Industrial fluid power lab & fluid mechanics laboratory
It is well equipped laboratory and used for conducting tests on Centrifugal pump, Venturimeter, losses in pipes, pelton turnbine, also having hydraulic & pneumatic trainer kits.
Refrigeration and Power Engg. Lab
It is well equipped Laboratory in which we can conduct test on test rigs such as VCR cycle, air compressor, etc and has models of boilers and cut section engine.
Theory of Machine Laboratory
It is well equipped laboratory having the models of four bar mechanisms, cam and follower, governor, clutches, gear boxes, bearings.
Metrology Quality control & Measurement Lab
It is well equipped laboratory and used for conducting practicals on floating carriage micrometer, height gauge, surface tester, L.V.D.T., stroboscope, temperature and humidity measurement.
Mechanical Engineering Materials
It is well equipped laboratory used to determine different properties of engineering materials like Metallurgical Micro-structure, Hardness (Rockwell and Brinell), and sample preparation.
Design and Drawing Lab
It is well equipped laboratory used for mechanical engineering drawing, engineering graphics, engineering drawing & design of machine elements.
